Devoted to unearthing the visual imperative, I use lens-based media to explore the relationships between constructed and discovered sociopolitical and interpersonal dialogues, by creating impactful visual narratives that bridge artistic expression and social consciousness I seek to foster reflection and new understanding among diverse audiences. My process always begins with understanding the personal narrative first, flowing into ethnographic observation and inquiry, and building a coherent visual style intuitively that challenges structure, form, and feeling. My practice encompasses fine art documentary photography, contemporary photography, and integrated new media art rooted in abstract constructivism and impressionism.
